Description

Jimmy Greene is at ICT (International Computers and Tabulators) in Castlereagh. ICT was a computer company and Adrian Smyth of the company tells Jimmy about the ‘management game’ the company are running to illustrate how computers can help run businesses.

Mr Smyth shows the system to Jimmy. The computer uses punch cards, much like those used in a Jacquard loom. A punch card is a piece of stiff paper that holds digital data represented by the presence or absence of holes in predefined positions.
