Leslie Dawes goes up Black Mountain to meet one of the engineers keeping Christmas TV viewing on the go all over the holidays. Peter McDermott has to work on Christmas Day from 8am to 4.30. He will get a Christmas dinner there but he'll be happier when he gets home for a proper one.
The transmitter on Black Mountain in Belfast was erected by the Independent Television Authority in 1959.
Leslie Dawes was a former professional footballer who worked as a broadcaster for UTV from its earliest days.
