Description

John Linehan's famous alter-ego, May McFettridge entertains a live UTV studio audience in Mayhem.

Relying upon audience interaction, the show comprises a number of regular segments: 'Crystal May' in which McFettridge divines the secrets of audience members. 'Make It With May', in which audience participants get hands-on. This week, practitioner Andrea Palmer demonstrates reflexology.

The second half of the programme begins with 'May's Memories', here May recounts the time Big Patricia's Granda died and she attended the wake... suffice to say events take a turn for the unexpected!

In 'Pick-A-Punta' audience members Marianne and Joe take part in 'Big Patricia's Play'.

Notes

John Linehan is a Northern Irish entertainer, best known for his drag alter-ego, May McFettridge. For over 28 years, Linehan has topped the bill, playing this character in Christmas pantomimes at Belfast's Grand Opera House. In 2006, he was awarded an MBE for his service to charities in Northern Ireland.
