A typical day out at the races. All the excitement of race day at Down Royal Racecourse. Be it the action taking place on the track, or the finery on display amongst the race-goers, the stakes are high in a film which provides an evocative snapshot of a day out at the Maze Races in the mid-Fifties. Glamorously-dressed women study the form guide, bookmakers are seen to do brisk business and spectators crowd close to the track as horses thunder around the oval track.
