Description

A memorial service in remembrance of Lady Carson, wife of Lord Carson, takes place St Anne’s Cathedral. Many political and social figures attend including Lord Brookeborough, Prime Minister Terence O’Neill, Brian Faulkner and other Stormont ministers. Lord Erskine, Governor of Northern Ireland is also present.  

Edward Carson Jnr carries his mother’s ashes for interrment with her husband in the Cathedral.
