Description

Welcome to the very first episode in the regular fortnightly series, Money Talks. Hosted by Brenda Boal and James Kerr, the programme looks at a range of topics such as a story of a Northern Irish firm fighting the recession in the carpet industry, the argument that industry in Northern Ireland is lagging behind Great Britain but also includes a regular feature on personal finances and explores questions around income tax.

The team also looks at Queen’s Export Awards which are granted annually to companies of all sizes around the UK who made substantial and sustained increases in their foreign sales and the four winning NI companies. Finally, will healthcare suffer as business management principles are applied to the Royal Victoria Hospital? Money Talks enquires about the new management structure and asks whether health can be run as a business.
