Lesley Black and James Kerr report on news in the business world in Northern Ireland.

This edition of Money Talks reports on the government’s announcement of details of its spending in Northern Ireland next year and how it is to be allocated between various industries. The figures show there’s a smaller share for industry. Also included in this programme is a new survey focusing on the problems facing the owners of successful businesses. The festive season is one of the busiest times of the year for the post office, one of the largest businesses in the province. Money Talks team stops by to talk about the challenges it faces. Finally, does weekend the weekend come early to Ulster businesses? James Kerr investigates the so-called POETS day or ‘piss off early, tomorrow’s Saturday’ day as he meets Mike Nesbitt at a golf course.
