Description

This special edition of Money Talks with James Kerr comes with news from the busy world of business. The topic discussed in this episode is "business without the border" with additional interviews from those who currently work in customs who give an insight on what the benefits and drawbacks are of a single market in the local economy.

Money Talks also wonders what will happen to the goods smuggler and provides examples of Northern Irish businesses, such as Eagle Seafood, who have gained a loyal customer base already in the Republic of Ireland. The main obstacles to cross-border trade are also looked at with delays in Customs, quality of Roads, exchange rate changes, cost of distribution and debt collection and payment being the main points of consideration.
