Description

The funeral of Mrs Matilda Gould takes place from Upper Charleville Street on the Shankill. Mrs Gould died six weeks after her home was attacked by petrol bombs. The UVF were responsible for the attack, mistaking her home for that of Catholics. Mrs Gould was 77 years old.  

The attack was one of a number of petrol bomb attacks that took place at the time.
