Na Dódaí say ‘Hello’ and our four characters introduce themselves. We meet Nóra, the oldest sister who loves to read stories every day. Then come the twins, Ruairí and Róise who are great friends and never fight! Ruairí is a good dancer and his twin sister loves to sing. The youngest member of the household is Naoise and he loves just about everything.
They play hide and seek and ‘Blind Man’s Buff’ before Naoise hears a magical sound. We find out about their special bubble machine and one magical bubble allows na Dódaí to see children in the real world. In this first programme, we meet a number of different children who all attend Naiscoil Naomh Breandeán on Shaw's Road in Belfast.
Na Dodaí make colourful animal masks - a chicken, a sheep, a cow and a pig before they sing a special song about farm animals. Then, at story time, Nóra tells them a story about Lucy and her friends at the farm. Afterwards, they dance together as they sing ‘Baa Baa Black Sheep'. Finally, it’s time for Nóra and her sister and brothers to say goodbye to their friends.
Gabhann na Dódaí a mbeannacht go gcuireann iad féin in aithne dúinn. Castar Nóra orainn, an deirfiúr is sine a bhfuil a croí sa léitheoireacht aici. Buailimid le Ruairí agus Róise, cúpla nach mbíonn in adharca lena chéile riamh! Is maith an damhsóir é Ruairí agus is breá lena leathchúpla amhrán a ghabháil. Is é Naoise an duine is óige sa teaghlach agus tá dúil a anama aige i mbeagnach gach rud.
