Description

Ernest Strathdee interviews Dr John A Rubis at his home in Knightbridge Park, Malone Road. Dr Rubis is an older gentleman who has just graduated as a medical doctor from Queen’s University Belfast and is moving back to the US to take up a position as a Houseman at a hospital in Chicago. They discuss why he chose to study at Queen’s and we get a tour of his lovely home.

Notes

Queen’s University  Belfast School of Medicine was established in 1849 and is one of the oldest in Britain. It has an international reputation for being one of the finest medical schools in the world whic h appears to be why Dr Rubis chose it to study at.
