Description

Film by Archie Reid, showing the production of newspapers in the 1960s. It shows how stories were recieved, typed up, printed and sent out in a time before automation and computers.

The newspaper being produced is the Belfast Telegraph, which was first produced in 1870.

Notes

The Belfast Telegraph is a daily newspaper, first published in 1870. It was founded by brothers William and George Baird.
