Description

This is an excellent collection of shots around what is now known as the Cathedral Quarter in Belfast city centre. According to the surviving paperwork this was a feature on no-parking zones in the area with parking allowed on one side only of Donegall Street and what was described as a “shambles” in Waring Street. We also see footage of Hill Street and lots of “No Waiting” signs in an area which has been thoroughly transformed in the decades since into a bustling zone of nightlife.
