Description

Part of ITV's travelogue series, About Britain, this episode of No Poor Parish takes a closer look at Moy, Co Tyrone. 

Moy was a small market town that developed rapidly during the nineteenth-century and was a busy and bustling town up until the First World War. The programme delves into the rich history of Moy and the surrounding area exploring not only its architectural heritage, horse breeding tradition and the renowned Moy Fair. Local inhabitants also recount stories of life and work in Moy in days gone by, and share some of their personal histories.
