Description

Film of the Nutts Corner Airport which used to be the main airport servicing Belfast. A glimpse is given into many aspects of the routine of the airport from check-in, the waiting area, the café, baggage handling, the control tower and planes taking off. At this stage in 1960 the decision had already been made to move civil aviation to the nearby Aldergrove Airport, which formally replaced Nutts Corner as the main passenger airport for Belfast in 1963.
