Description

Episode 5 of 5: The Choice. This episode looks at the demands of peace and asks how we address conflict when it has halted. This raises questions of how divided identities are forged in conflict, and who we are to become after, including looking at sceptical reactions from a number of viewpoints. The studio audience tentatively suggest that the peace process has brought a sense of hope to Northern Ireland, reminding us of the 'brain drain' we suffered throughout the Troubles. They praise community activists and express their hopes for the future. We see young people form the Neve Shalom community visiting Belfast, where they were hosted by Sinn Fein and the Progressive Unionist Party.
