This edition concentrates on Aughnacloy and its surrounding areas. Looking right back to the time of the Plantations, locals illuminate the area with their historical knowledge and personal stories. We see the horse fair, the ruined grandeur of 'Irelan's greatest folly,'and the historical traces that still mark the landscape - from thistle-shaped ruins to stones for mounting horses. On top of this, we're lucky enough to get a couple of local tunes, and an interview with the local rope man. Jack Johnston provides much of the historical context.
