Trevor Birney reports from the Guildhall in Derry, in this segment of UTV Live.
He reports on the Pathways to Peace and Reconciliation Action Plan, designed to help those most affected by violence.
The action plan includes a £4 million fund that will be made available to benefit dozens of voluntary and sports groups in the area and, controversially, two loyalist and two republican ex-prisoner groups.
Cathal Crumley (Sinn Fein, former IRA member) suggests that re-integrating ex-prisoners into society can only contribute to peace in the city.
Also interviewed, Martin Snodden (former UVF member) and, finally, a representative of the Disabled Police Officers Association.
