Description

Jimmy Greene talks to Patrick Moore about the plans for the Planetarium in Armagh. Patrick Moore was the new Director of the Planetarium. He is a charming interviewee and addresses the issue of life ‘out there’ as proposed by the Russians but he won’t be drawn on what this intelligent life might look like.

Notes

Sir Patrick Moore was a world-renowned astronomer, television presenter and writer. He was the long-standing host of The Sky At Night, and specialised on the moon although he never actually studied astronomy. He was Director of Armagh Planetarium for three years.
