Robin Walsh reports on the launch of plans for a national theatre in Northern Ireland. Sir Tyrone Guthrie was at the forefront of this campaign.
The campaign for a national theatre in Northern Ireland was led by Sir Tyrone Guthrie. Sir Tyrone Guthrie was a famous theatre director who estblished theatre projects here and in the USA. He was also the Chancellor of Queen’s 1963-1970.
