Description

In October 1964 the then Prime Minister of Northern Ireland, Terence O'Neill, toured the Castledawson and Magherafelt areas for a day of official visits. It turned out to be a busy schedule for him and his wife as they called in on the Mid Ulster Hospital and the children's ward, a brick-making company, a textile factory, a farm and a local primary school. And there was still time for a formal lunch as well!
