Description

UTV reporter Jimmy Robinson takes part in this staged traffic law violation (at least we hope it was staged!) in which the traffic division of the Royal Ulster Constabulary demonstrate their new fleet of “Q Cars”. This mobile unit would be keeping an eye on motorists for any breaches of the Highway Code and had the power to prosecute drivers. The policeman in the footage is certainly no natural in terms of the staged performance for the cameras and seems rather ill at ease with it all. Some lovely footage of 1960s style cars though, including the Hillman.
