Candy Devine presents Rejoice, a programme which incorporates biblical themes into music. This episode focuses on the topic of 'friendship' and how our relationship with our family effects developing deep friendships. The first performance is by Crossfire who sing 'Changes', about "doing what only good friends do, telling home truths". Next up is Majorie Cardwell and her song 'No Greater Love'. This is followed by a biblical passage about a man who was robbed and a friendship which crossed social barriers, illustrated with children's drawingsEnding the programme is John Chambers, a marriage counsellor, who speaks about how our first friendships are found in our family 'mum and dad'. There is also the mention of how someone can develop a poor self image if they struggle to find true friendship. Candy echoes this, and the need to let go of ego and accept friends as who they are.
