Description

In October 1969 Sir Arthur Young was appointed as the final Inspector General of the RUC. He would soon become the first retitled Chief Inspector. In this press conference and interview he answered questions on the problems of policing in Northern Ireland at this time and in dealing with particular concerns in the Falls and Shankill areas as well as Derry.
