Description

Derek Kinnen presents this report for the UTV arts programme of the 1970s, Spectrum. In thi sedition he travels to Granada studios in Mabchester to report on what seemed like a incredibly long-running show - Coronation Street. LIttle did he know that this series (then running for twelve years) would still be on air over fifty years later.

Interviewed are some of the actors responsible for the most famous characters of the time such as Violet Carson (Ena Sharples), William Roache (Ken Barlow), Doris Speed (Annie Walker) and Peter Adamson (Len Fairclough). And, of course, it wouldn't be a visit to the set of Corrie without the Rover's Return.
