Description

This short film from ImageNation NI captures the vibrant atmosphere of St Patrick’s Day, 2023. The colourful costumes, lively music, and pumping music captivated the thousands of revellers that poured into Belfast to watch the celebrations. Starting on Royal Avenue, the film shows a parade filled with performers in colourful costumes parading and dancing towards the City Hall. Among the performers are representatives from Image Nation, dressed in colourful costumes and taking part with great gusto. 

St Patrick’s Day, celebrated annually on the 17th of March, honours Ireland’s patron saint. Over time, the day has transformed from a religious occasion into a celebration of Irish culture, heritage and the diverse community that calls the island home.
