Description

We’re rather short on context for this one. The paperwork merely says “mad procession” but we’ll call it a strange parade instead. It is dated as October 1965 but there is clearly a Christmas tree in the background as possibly a mayor or lord mayor is inside taking a taste of what might be a giant Christmas pudding. Northern Ireland’s Prime Minister is then spotted outside on a balcony as a very unusual parade takes place with rather makeshift costumes and placards.
