Description

Tony and Meriel Grant share their memories of leaving Northern Ireland for the then-colony of Nigeria when Tony was offered an important job in expanding Nigeria's rail newtwork. They were married in Nigeria and their son, David, spent his early years there with them and all three of them recount these long-gone days of Empire and steam trains through the home movie footage they shot. This clip appeared in Series 3, Programme 3 of 'Super 8 Stories'.
