Description

This piece to camera along the Co Down coastline coincided with what the presenter told us was a tourist event of an Viking invasion. This is almost certainly tied to the Kilkeel Prawn Festival which ran during the 1960s and which would incorporate a restaging of Viking invasions of old, complete with longship and fully costumed warriors. The lone presenter’s faith in his poetry and bow and arrow would be little match for them we fear.
