Description

Terence O'Neill speech C.1966 where he speaks about the minimalist duty of allegiance and the need for the the community to advance. He also mentions, the obligations which the state owes in return for this allegiance and how the future is full of promise. O'Neill ends the speech urging the public to "Shed the burdens of traditional grievances and ancient resentment. Much we can do together, we must ladies and gentlemen and god willing, it will".
