Leslie Dawes meets Head Constable Shepherd, the trainer of the Aghadowey Tug-of-War team. He also meets Joe and Hugh Barr, of the Aghadowey Barrs (a famous ploughing family). The Aghadowey men won the right to represent Northern Ireland at the inaugural European Championships in London in 1965. They took silver medals at the 720 Kilo class behind the famous Wood Treatment team which was representing England.
