Description

In Botanic Gardens, Charles Witherspoon meets the Dairy Princesses ahead of the annual competition to find the Dairy Queen. William Carter works with the Milk Marketing Board and explains the competition.  

The women are Maureen McGettigan from Strabane, Helen Baine from Holywood, Mary Martin from Claudy, Elizabeth McGowan from Belleek, Noreen Carberry from Armagh City (who has amazing hair!), Margaret Roberston from Belfast and Moira Duffin from Larne.  

Helen from Holywood was crowned the winner. One of the judges was Mary Peters.
