Description

The Tiger’s Bay boy who became a world champion, boxer Carl Frampton is profiled on the eve of his first title defence, against Chris Alaloz (28 February 2015).

In a city steeped in boxing lore, ‘The Jackal’ was already a legend. Here, he reflects on his personal and professional achievements, from family life to crucial, early-career fights against Kiko Martinez. Featuring interviews with trainers, friends, family and Frampton himself, this documentary traces his rise, both as a sporting icon and as a symbol for how sport can unite a divided community.
