Description

The PRONI and Nerve Centre teams, with the support of Northern Ireland Screen, brought together a group of talented filmmakers aged 12-16 to make horror films inspired by the Spence Brothers archives.

Our film-makers were tasked with creating a horror film only one minute long, using the skills they learnt over a week; make-up with artist Connie McGrath, acting with Rob Crawford from Bruiser Theatre Company, script-writing and editing.

All the films were made at the Ulster Folk Museum.

In this film, someone is out there, but who are they? What do they want?

Notes

Making the Future was a new cross-border cultural programme which empowers people to use museum collections and archives to explore the past and create a powerful vision for future change.
The regional programme was delivered by a consortium of leading cultural organisations including the Nerve Centre, National Museums NI, Public Record Office of Northern Ireland and Linen Hall Library, supported through €1.82m of EU funding under the PEACE IV Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
