Description

Capturing the folk crafts and traditions of Northern Ireland, the non-fiction films of Roy Spence are vital documents of dwindling skills and disappearing worlds.

In this film, Spence discusses his work with the Ulster Folk Museum, the roving commissions to record local craft heritage and the multitude of characters he encountered in the course of filming.
