Description

A film by Hugh Kennedy, showing the opening of the Coleraine Marina on the 3rd June 1972. 

The opening was attended by sailor Robin Knox-Johnston. In 1969 Johnston became the first person to single-handedly, without stopping navigate the globe.

The video shows people turning out in their boats to celebrate the opening of the Marina.
