Description

In this episode of Romper Room, Miss Helen leads the children through a series of games, nursery rhymes and a demonstration on lacing shoes.

The jack-in-the box goes off, signalling it's time for Romper Room to begin. First, 'the princess game' with Eimear as the princess. However, the princess isn't inclined to cooperate and, so, another princess is chosen! Following this is 'heads, shoulders, knees and toes' with the dance getting faster and faster.

With the games finished, it's show and tell, this is interrupted by a toy clock thats been wound up too much and so won't stop the tune. Eventually, the music stops and the audience is introduced to Judith’s one-eyed bear, her twin sister tells us she swallowed the eye! Helen attempts to quiet the children so she can teach them all to lace their shoes, after this three nursery rhymes are sung, with the last one 'Georgie Porgie' sung with particular enthusiasm.

To wrap up the show, Miss Helen looks into her magic mirror, seeing all the children watching at home and saying their names.
