Description

An update outside the Petty Court at the ongoing Seenozip court case. Jimmy Robinson reports that the two directors of the company were arrested in London and brought back to Belfast to face charges of fraud. The scandal would involve Unionist MP Patricia McLaughlin.

Notes

Seenozip had commenced trading in Newry in 1960. The company went bankrupt in 1964. Two of its directors were jailed for defrauding the Northern Ireland Government of tens of thousands of pounds.
