Description

Tony Jacklin was one of the most famous British golfers of the 60s/70s era and is best remembered for his two wins in golf’s “majors” – The Open in 1969 and the US Open in 1970. At this stage he was just a talented young golfer on the up but he had managed to win the Blaxnit (Ulster) Tournament at Malone just two days before this wedding footage was shot. The tournament location was a handy one for Jacklin as he was marrying a local Belfast lady by the name of Vivien Murray.
