Views of the Troxy cinema, formerly situated on the Shore Road, Belfast. The Troxy opened on the 24th October 1936. It was a a luxurious, Art Deco styled cinema, with prices to match the decor - it was said to charge “downtown” prices – essentially double its nearest competitor, the Queens Picture Theatre. As of October 2012, the site for a once majestic cinema was being used as a supermarket car park.
