Description

Samuel Bracegirdle visits a vintage fair at Shane's Castle. He sees traction engines – Pride of Castle Bawn and Wee Mary Ann. A steam train called Shane passes by, and people are entertained by a vintage self-playing organ.

Notes

Samuel Bracegirdle was an amateur filmmaker from Belfast, his work dates from the 1950s to the 1970s. Many of his films show his home life and holidays with family and friends. He also took an interest in local history and Unionist heritage. 

The railway at Shane's Castle was created by Raymond O'Neill, the 4th Baron O'Neill. It ran as a tourist attraction from 1971 until 1995.
