This film highlights Springboard’s Wall2Wall group’s visit to Cyprus in Summer 2024. The trip marked the culmination of a project bringing together young people from divided communities in Belfast. They met their counterparts on the Mediterranean island to explore the impact of the hard border on their lives, while also enjoying sports, social activities, and new friendships.
The film showcases the sports and activities they took part in, moments of socialising and group bonding, and an exchange of cultural traditions – including that staple of Irish celebrations, the group dance routine to The Hues Corporation’s disco classic Rock the Boat.
