This film looks back to 1919, as reenactments show the stages of the Irish War of Independence. At the end, the group returns to the classroom to discuss what sovereignty truly means.

Made as part of the Entwined Futures Project, delivered by Co-operation Ireland.

This project brought together students from St. Columbanus’ College and St. Oliver’s Community College, to explore themes of citizenship, identity and sovereignty through the lens of the past.
