Description

Four-part series broadcast in the week that A Level results are released. Featuring a guest panel, live audience and phone-in callers, Gerry Kelly explores the options available for students wishing to pursue an avenue of higher education.

A simulcast with Downtown Radio and featuring a live link to the North West studio in Derry. The panel comprises Deirdre Deery, Brian Adgey, Jennifer Dwyer and Peter Gallagher, in their professional capacity they interact with and support school leavers. Topics discussed include the university clearing process, repeating exams, industry-led learning and taking a year out to reapply to universities.

Whilst emphasising the various options open to students, it is noted university is not the only route to success in later life. Contributors include Alicia McVeigh, Nicola Acheson,  Nicola Shaw, Declan Kurt, Jill Houstan, Conor Sherrard and Andrew Patterson.
