Description

Not having much luck with your job hunt? Maria McCann advises on what scheme might help with that. In another episode packed with useful information, Maria also looks at how far your money goes if you’re living on a student grant and share a few handy guidelines for freshers.

In the job spot segment, Maria looks at a career in water service department at the Department of the Environment (DOE) and investigates how to get into a job like this. In the studio, Andy Peters gives more information about how Job Club scheme could help you in your job search and interview preparation and Peter O’Neill talks about the need for students to budget carefully if living on a grant. Lastly, John Rosborough of Downtown Radio promotes a unique linkup with Which Way Now through Stephen Woods’ “Nothin’ Better” weekly programme in the summer of 1987.
