Description

Paul Clark visits Witness contributor Rev. Marisene Stanfield, who has selected a couple of her favourite clips and explains why they resonated with her.

Originally from Scotland, Marisene moved to Ballynahinch after meeting her husband at university, living a busy family life, she is always aware of the modern influences on her children and the children in the congregation. This leads on to her first choice, Roz Stirling who speaks about "today's heroes" such as pop stars and the media effect on children.

Next is Elaine Dickson because of her "deep love of Jesus" which comes across as a "deep love for people", and how she took the active Christian work she did in Sydney and began it in Belfast, going onto the streets and making human connections.

Other contributors include Dr. Johnston McMaster who speaks about the early Christians and their "connection with the natural world" and Rachael Fearnehough who creates plays based on biblical scenes.
