Description

Snooker enjoyed a golden age in Northern Ireland throughout the 1980s, with two world champions and the world team title, and that glory encouraged a number of women to take up what had always been a male-dominated sport. Good Evening Ulster reports on a team of four women who competed in a men's league in Derry and won it. One of the local snooker administrators explains that they are developing the women's game by setting up a championship.
