Bringing the history of Belfast's shipyards to life
Boat Builders is a new work, featuring music, archival footage and the stories of those who lived through this pivotal period in Belfast's history, all brought together by a dynamic creative team.
Produced and developed by New Notions Cinema, as part of the BFI Coast and Sea project, Boat Builders incorporates footage from the Northern Ireland Screen Digital Film Archive, digitised as part of Unlocking Film Heritage, to bring the audience on an audiovisual journey through the local history of one of the world's most fascinating industries.
