Not one, but two Digital Film Archive events will be taking place as part of this year's CULTURE NIGHT BELFAST

NORTHERN IRELAND ON FILM: FROM THE CITY TO THE SEA: INTO FILM delves into the Northern Ireland Screen Digital Film Archive, presenting an assortment of material that showcases the changing face of Belfast in the Twentieth Century, alongside films that speak of our maritime heritage and enduring fascination with the sea. Beanbag Cinema, 5 Exchange Place, Belfast, BT1 2NA, 3 to 5pm

ECHOES OF SAILORTOWN: Household and The Sailortown Regeneration Group, will temporarily reanimate St Joseph’s Church for Culture Night Belfast 2017. Screening edited footage from the Northern Ireland Screen Digital Film Archive, Echoes of Sailortown will provide a brief glimpse of this dockland area's rich history, in the derelict church which was once at the heart of the local community. St. Joseph's Church, Princes Dock Street, 8:30 to 9:30pm

From THE CITY TO THE SEA and ECHOES OF SAILORTOWN are presented as part of the BFI’s Britain on Film: Coast and Sea project – a major film heritage and archive initiative that aims to highlight selected treasures from regional and national archives:
