Dublin Road Cinema Closes Doors for the Last Time

After 27 years of providing big screen entertainment to Belfast, the famous Dublin Road cinema has lowered its curtain for the last time. The official closing date for the cinema was to be last Sunday, the 26th of April. However, due to Covid-19 precautions, the cinema closed its doors last month. They will now never reopen.
In this UTV footage we take a look back at the commissioning and construction of the popular cinema back in 1993.
